HELP SOMEONE LESS FORTUNATE THIS YEAR
Springlake Communities are collecting non-perishable food items as well as gifts on behalf of Infuse Community Pantry.
As costs for day-to-day expenses such as rent, food and power continue to rise, there are people in our community who are struggling to make ends meet for a myriad of reasons. The ‘Infuse Community Pantry’ was opened in early March of this year to help ease the burden on individuals and families in the Adelaide Hills. They provide a wide range of low cost or free items including baby essentials, snacks, drinks, fresh and frozen vegetables, meat when available, milk and bread to anyone who needs a hand to make things a bit easier. Everyone is welcome.
They wish to make a positive change in people’s lives and to make things a little bit brighter, especially at Christmas. If you are able to, please consider donating any of the following items (new and unopened): Longlife food and drink; baby items – wipes, formula, bottles, blankets, clothing, toys; sanitary products; toiletries for men, women, tweens and teens; toys and clothing for toddlers; Christmas cakes, lollies, Christmas bon-bons, chocolates; gifts suitable for boys and girls up to the age of 12, the ‘extra’ things families can’t afford when money is tight.
We invite residents to drop off a gift to the sales centre between the 1st and 14th December, to make someone’s Christmas that little bit brighter.
Please do not wrap items, this will be managed by the volunteer team.
